The district is planning a November 2026 referendum to renew a $5 million non-recurring operational referendum first approved in 2022. Replacement of wireless and switching infrastructure across the district.
The Authority will reauthorize a loan up to $500,000 from RACM’s EPA Brownfield Revolving Loan Fund for the benefit of Bronzeville Arts and Tech Hub, LLC for properties at 606 and 616 W. North Avenue. This is financing approval for a specific brownfield-related project, not a new competitive procurement. Environmental and construction vendors can use this as intelligence that the Bronzeville Arts & Tech Hub project is funded and moving toward cleanup and redevelopment at those parcels.
Oak Creek will award the Various Dead End Hydrants Project (No. 26116) to UPI, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder at $225,753, against a $250,000 CIP budget. Work includes removing valves and installing eight hydrants citywide plus relocating a hydrant on W. Drexel Avenue. Bids were opened May 29, 2026, with three bidders. This gives contractors and suppliers insight into current water infrastructure standards, hydrant types, and an active capital program that may generate similar projects and change orders.

Glendale will consider authorizing an agreement with All-Ways Construction, Inc. for the 2026 Miscellaneous Storm Sewer Improvements Project up to $186,722. This shows the city is selecting a contractor for storm sewer repairs and upgrades for the current season.
