The County of Loudoun is seeking bids for the renovation of the Sterling Community Center. This project involves the major renovation of the Sterling Community Center building and the demolition and parking lot construction at an adjacent property. The renovation includes raising a split-level building to one contiguous level, expanding the gymnasium, and incorporating new spaces such as a public lobby, teen recreation area, fitness room, computer room, kitchen, classrooms, administrative space, and art room. The project also includes demolition of an existing building and construction of a new parking lot. The project will utilize geothermal ground source heating and cooling and is registered as a LEED project.
