SUMMARY

The City of Edinburg is seeking a qualified firm to prepare a comprehensive 20-year Water and Sewer System Master Plan to support ongoing growth. The scope of work includes hydraulic modeling, identification of existing and future capacity constraints, prioritization of system capacity needs, and development of a 20-year capital improvement program. Existing infrastructure comprises two water treatment plants with 26 MGD combined capacity, one 13.5 MGD wastewater treatment plant, six water towers, two booster stations, 54 lift stations, 506 miles of water lines ranging from 2 to 30 inches, and 411 miles of sewer lines ranging from 6 to 36 inches.
