SUMMARY
The City of Augusta is requesting sealed bids for the Ward Road Full Depth Reclamation and reconstruction project (RFSB #227002). The scope of work consists of pulverization and reprocessing of approximately 7,800 feet of existing roadway structure between South Belfast Avenue and Weeks Mills Road, placement of new hot mix asphalt (HMA) pavement (2.5" base and 1.5" surface), shoulder rehabilitation, ditch regrading, driveway tie-ins, and pavement striping. Bidders must provide a 5% bid bond for bids over $50,000, and the successful contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds.
