SUMMARY
The City of Lakeland is soliciting competitive proposals from qualified Cultural Resource Management consultants for Phase 3 of its Historic Districts Resurvey project under solicitation 2026-RFP-096. The selected consultant will update the inventory of historic structures within the Beacon Hill, Biltmore-Cumberland, and Lake Hunter Terrace Historic Districts. Scope includes reassessing approximately 557 previously recorded buildings/sites and assessing an estimated 138 new buildings built in 1976 or prior. Deliverables include a minimum of 500 Florida Master Site File (FMSF) forms, GIS data sets, maps, and a final survey report with National Register of Historic Places recommendations.
