SUMMARY
The scope of work consists of the MDSO Kendall District Restroom+Locker Room/Gym and Desk Operations Center Renovations at Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office (MDSO) Kendall Station located at 7707 SW 117 Ave, Miami, FL 33183. Work includes furnishing all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, services, permits, related permitting expenses, inspections, asbestos survey and the abatement of all non-friable asbestos, and removal and haul-off of all construction-related debris. All work must be performed in strict accordance with the Florida Building Code, local, state, and federal laws and regulations, and permit application number C2025085288. This is a high security facility where all employees must provide identification and undergo a background check. Prospective bidders must show experience in renovation projects in high security environments of Police facilities, with a minimum of 2 projects in the last five years. Questions and requests for information (RFI) must be submitted prior to the RFI submittal deadline of September 29, 2026. The submission deadline is October 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
