SUMMARY
Fort Pierce Utilities Authority (FPUA) is seeking proposals from qualified licensed electricians and commercial sub-construction contractors for site construction and installation of a new 28MVA, 69-13.8kV TT3 transformer located at FPUA's Totten Substation in Fort Pierce, Florida. The scope of work encompasses general construction, site preparation and civil work, grounding and underground raceway, foundations, installation of FPUA-furnished substation equipment (including 69kV disconnect switch, 69kV transmission gas circuit breaker, 28-MVA transformer, 13.2kV feeder breakers, and regulators), bus and primary connections, protection, control, and wiring, testing, commissioning, and energization support, as well as quality assurance and as-built documentation. Project completion and acceptance must occur on or before June 1, 2027. A mandatory virtual pre-proposal conference is scheduled for September 29, 2026, at 9:30 AM EST via Zoom, and sealed proposals are due by October 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM EST.
