SUMMARY
Fort Pierce Utilities Authority is seeking proposals from qualified suppliers for the purchase and delivery of approximately 125,400 lbs (approx. 11,000 gallons) per year of Ortho/Polyphosphate Blended Liquid (Corrosion Inhibitor) to the Fort Pierce Utilities Authority Water Treatment Plant located at 715 South 25th Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34947. The corrosion inhibitor must maintain an ortho/polyphosphate ratio of 50/50 with total PO4 between 33.0–38.0, a pH of 4.0–7.0, specific gravity of 1.35–1.45, and be ANSI/NSF Standard 60 approved for potable water. Deliveries will typically consist of 6 to 8 totes (275 gallons each) every other month FOB destination. Sealed proposals are due by July 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM EST, with a public proposal opening via Zoom at 11:30 AM EST. The contract term ends on May 31, 2031, with initial pricing firm for the first 12 months.
