SUMMARY
This project involves furnishing and installing a leachate evaporation system in each of two existing leachate storage ponds at the Tomoka Farms Road Landfill in Volusia County, Florida. The scope includes a leachate evaporation system with a weather-informed control system that may be temporarily leased or permanently installed, designed to achieve an average evaporation rate of 100,000 gallons per day (gpd) for a 6-month performance period. The contractor shall provide means and methods to measure rainfall and natural evaporation to demonstrate performance above ambient conditions, and include mobilization, lease-with-return, lump sum buyout option, and demobilization. Responses are due by November 12, 2026, with a non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting on October 22, 2026, and question deadline on October 29, 2026.
