SUMMARY
The City of Mexico Beach is soliciting bids for the Boat Ramp Repairs & Expansion project (ITB 2026-05). The comprehensive scope of work includes the demolition of existing vinyl sheet pile seawalls, concrete caps, and damaged promenades; installation of new steel seawalls (including 194 LF in front of existing walls and 132 LF at demolished locations); construction of a new 19-foot wide grooved concrete boat ramp; and installation of an AccuDock floating dock (6'x22') and aluminum gangway (5'x30'). Additional work involves site improvements such as rip-rap, Keystone retaining walls, C.I.P. bollards, aluminum handrails, and site restoration with sod. The project is divided into three phases with a total substantial completion time of 270 days and final completion in 300 days. Liquidated damages are set at $1,000 per day. Bids are due by May 15, 2026.
