SUMMARY
North Broward Hospital District d/b/a Broward Health is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for architectural and engineering (A/E) design and related professional services for the elevation and flood protection of essential electrical equipment located in the South Mechanical Building at Broward Health Medical Center (BHMC) in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The scope generally consists of elevating existing electrical equipment including main switchboards, automatic transfer switches, transformers, motor control centers, and associated infrastructure onto new structural stands with concrete pad integration to a minimum elevation of 8.00 feet (NAVD88). The project is funded in part through a FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) subaward (FEMA-DR-4709-FL, Project No. 4709-011-R, CFDA No. 97.039) passed through the Florida Division of Emergency Management. Responses are due by 3:00 P.M. ET on Friday, October 23, 2026.
