SUMMARY
The City of Rome invites sealed bids for the DR-4625NY City of Rome Disaster Recovery - Phase 2 project, designated as RFB-2025-017R. The work includes damage rehabilitation and bank stabilization at Pinti Field and Mohawk River, along with beach restoration at Bellamy Harbor Park within Rome, New York, returning features to pre-disaster functionality. Scope includes clearing and grubbing, unclassified excavation, embankment, select granular fill, trench and culvert excavation, temporary seed and mulch, turbidity curtain, rolled erosion control, biodegradable sediment filter logs, trailway top course stone dust, subbase course, HMA binder and top courses, tack coat, cold milling, shields and shoring, cofferdams, special stone work, corrugated polyethylene culvert and storm drain, drainage structures, underdrain tubing, vinyl-chain link and ornamental aluminum fencing, concrete sidewalks, driveways, cast-in-place and timber curbs, mulch, turf establishment, tree and shrub planting, irrigation systems, railing, stone filling, traffic control, clearing ditches, cutting pavement, pavement striping, and signs. Bids are due by July 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. local time at Rome City Hall. Bid security of 5% is required. Prevailing wages apply, and the project adheres to NYSDOT Standard Specifications.
