The Board is seeking the services of a pre-qualified Architectural Firm to provide architectural and consulting services including Design Development, assistance with Contract Documents & Tender development, and Construction & Contract Administration for renovations at Front of Yonge PS. The primary objective is to replace Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) panels or Siporex panels in roof sections with a steel deck, provide structural enhancements, and install a new 2-ply modified bitumen roofing system.
Additional scope includes mechanical HVAC systems removal and reinstall, new Universal washroom, new stage lift, barrier free exterior doors and sidewalks, asphalt play and parking areas replacement, gold level pylon sign with digital display, washroom vanities, interior classroom doors, and primary electrical service replacement. This is a multi-phase, multi-year project with construction scheduled from July 2, 2026 to March 31, 2029.
