Lake County schools secure SRO services from Groveland

The School Board of Lake County entered into an interlocal agreement with the City of Groveland for the 2026-2027 school year under which four police officers will serve as School Resource Officers and one Certified Crossing Guard will be provided at designated schools. The School Board will reimburse the City monthly for the actual salary and benefits costs of these positions for the term August 10, 2026 through the last student day in May 2027.
