SUMMARY

Shawnee County Solid Waste is seeking qualified professional design services for a two-phase renovation project at the North Annex. Phase One involves renovating approximately 4,000 square feet of unused space into supervisor offices, including wall removal, construction of four new offices, a kitchenette, and potential restroom inclusion. Phase Two involves redesigning the existing supervisor office area into a functional administrative and customer-service workspace with a cashier window. The selected firm will serve as the lead design consultant responsible for architectural design and coordination of all engineering disciplines (HVAC, electrical, data, fire alarm, plumbing) to deliver bid-ready construction documents. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and on-site inspection is scheduled for September 9, 2026, at 10:00 am. The total project budget is $750,000.00.
