SUMMARY
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) announces the availability of funding for the development of publicly accessible and semi-publicly accessible charging infrastructure sites to serve electric medium and heavy-duty vehicles (MHDV) along the Interstate 95 (I-95) corridor and adjacent roads within New Jersey. Total funds available are up to $84,133,655, with site minimum capacity of 2.5 MW per site and 250 kW per port, and a per-site award maximum of up to $20 million. Proposals are due by December 23, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. ET, following an optional bidders webinar on September 29, 2026, and questions due by November 30, 2026.
