SUMMARY
The Housing Authority of City of Pittsburgh is seeking bids for the Homewood North Community Center HVAC Work Replacement project located at 10 Albertice St., Pittsburgh, PA 15208 under IFB Contract No. 600-28-26. The scope of work is limited to replacing existing mechanical equipment, removal of abandoned equipment, creation of a new opening in the ceiling system for future RTU servicing, removal of existing temporary furnace and enclosure, temporary removal of existing smoke/carbon monoxide detectors and lighting fixtures, temporary removal of existing fire alarm devices, and temporary relocation of sprinkler heads. Required new equipment includes an AHU-1 Lennox unit (3000 CFM, 91.8 MBH), condensing unit CU-1, and a Modine gas duct furnace (200,000 BTUH). Work also involves reinstallation of suspended grid ceiling system with new acoustic tiles and associated electrical and plumbing connections in accordance with HUD-5370 general conditions.
