SUMMARY
The Pasadena City Attorney/City Prosecutor’s Office is soliciting proposals from qualified nonprofit agencies to implement the pilot HOME Diversion Program. This grant-funded initiative, supported by the California Board of State and Community Corrections (CA BSCC) Prop 47 Cohort 5, aims to reduce recidivism among unhoused adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders. The program provides a low-barrier, trauma-informed alternative to prosecution for non-violent misdemeanors, diverting participants into immediate interim housing with wraparound services including case management, behavioral health therapy, substance use counseling, housing navigation, and job training.
