SUMMARY
The Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) is soliciting applications for the Texas Regional Training Award (TRTA) under RFA R-27.2-TRTA to facilitate the training of the next generation of outstanding cancer researchers. The program supports integrated institutional research training programs for predoctoral trainees, postdoctoral fellows, and clinical fellows focused on basic, population-based, translational, or clinical cancer research. Applicants may request a maximum of $400,000 in total costs per year for up to 5 years. Applications must be submitted via the new CPRIT Grants Management Platform (GMP) starting September 16, 2026, with a submission deadline of November 18, 2026, at 5 PM central time.
