From the meeting
The ISU Research Park URA amendment expanded the area by about 460 acres to include the airport property, the whole Research Park, rights-of-way, and City land at Billy Sunday Road. The project list included the University Boulevard extension, utilities, Cottonwood Drive paving, Lincoln Way bridge replacement, airport site and runway improvements, and other street and intersection work. The report said the public improvements were estimated at $11 million and developer incentives with TIF rebates totaled $9 million, with maximum TIF increasing to $27 million.
The commission recommended the amendment as consistent with Plan 2040.
