From the meeting
At its August 20, 2026 meeting the council authorized Requests for Qualifications for engineering services, financial advisor services, and bond counsel services tied to projects in the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Staff said this is one of the first steps before construction and that results will come back to the council at a future meeting for selection. The Texas Water Development Board requirement makes this a real near-term sourcing opportunity.
