The Board approved a pricing agreement with the County of San Diego Sheriff's Department to provide School Resource Officers at six district high schools from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, with an estimated total cost of $1,722,030 before City of Santee cost-sharing. After the City's $240,256.42 contribution for one SRO, the district's net cost is projected at about $1.482 million.
