Funding is anticipated from the NC Dept. of Public Safety. The RFP focuses on programs that reduce risk, address juvenile needs, and increase pro-social skills. Several program types are considered for funding, including Mentoring Services, Parent/Family Skill Building, Vocational Skills, and Substance Abuse Treatment/Counseling. Services must be outcome-based and include an evaluation component. Local public agencies, 501c3 non-profit corporations, and local housing authorities are eligible to apply.
