Summary
The Town of Greater Napanee and the Township of Stone Mills are seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to fill the role of Integrity Commissioner as established under the Municipal Act.
The Integrity Commissioner will perform independent investigations in accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001, the Council Code of Conduct Policy for both Council and Boards, and the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act. On request of the client, the proponent may also be asked to provide education programs to members of Council and/or staff, and to provide recommendations regarding the Council Code of Conduct. The contract will be for a two year term, with the option for renewal.
