SUMMARY

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) is soliciting qualifications from multidisciplinary Design Teams to provide professional design services, campus and land planning, urban design, civil engineering, and infrastructure master planning for the Carolina North development project. The project involves a 947-acre tract, focusing on approximately 200-250 acres of pre-development across the former Horace Williams Airport site in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Required deliverables include academic programming, land use planning, street and block layouts, massing studies, open space identification, architecture and landscape design guidelines, wayfinding and master signage plans, phasing plans, multimodal circulation and transportation plans, drainage and utility concept plans, sustainability, ESG & resilience implementation strategies, and GSF space planning.
