SUMMARY
The County of Morris is soliciting bids for the public auction of a 10-acre parcel located at 540 West Hanover Avenue in the Township of Morris (Block 1901, Lot 1). The property contains the Morris View Healthcare Center, a long-term care skilled nursing facility and sub-acute rehabilitation facility. The sale is subject to a minimum bid of $27,050,000.00 and a deed restriction requiring the Healthcare Center Leased Space to be used in perpetuity as a licensed facility with at least 283 beds. The purchaser will take the property subject to the Morris View Lease Agreement and must lease back certain 'Leased Areas' to the County for a 50-year term. Non-mandatory site visits are scheduled for July 2 and July 9, 2026. The public auction will be held on August 24, 2026, at 10 Court Street, Morristown, NJ.
