SUMMARY

It is the District's intent and the purpose of these specifications to secure a qualified vendor to design, permit and install a complete lightning protection system in compliance with NFPA 780 and UL96A at the District's I.Q. 511 Reclaimed Water Pump Station. The lightning protection systems shall be installed by a vendor that is presently engaged in installation of UL and LPI certified lightning protection systems. Refer to the technical specifications included as part of the bid documents for requirements for the lightning protection systems. Refer to Exhibit A for record drawings of existing pump station site for reference only.
