SUMMARY
Lee County Board of County Commissioners seeks a qualified contractor to conduct maintenance dredging of the Blind Pass Channel and connection to Roosevelt Channel between Sanibel and Captiva Island. The project entails the removal of approximately 120,900 cubic yards of sediment from the pass and interior system, including 68,180 cubic yards seaward of Blind Pass Bridge, 43,680 cubic yards in Wulfert Channel, and 9,040 cubic yards in Roosevelt Channel, with additional yardage for shoaling. Beach compatible material will be placed on the downdrift beach between R-112 to R-116. Funded in part by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). Submission deadline is October 22, 2026. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for October 1, 2026, at Sanibel, FL.
