SUMMARY
The City of Friona, Texas invites sealed bids from qualified and properly licensed contractors for the removal, disposal, and site cleanup of seven (7) underground storage tanks (USTs) and two (2) above-ground fuel dispensers/pumps located at 824 Main Street and City property within Friona, Texas. The scope of work includes system inspection, emptying, purging, cleaning, disconnecting, and removing USTs and piping, management and disposal of petroleum-contaminated soil and hazardous materials, soil assessment, environmental testing, excavation backfill, compaction, and site restoration in accordance with TCEQ and 30 TAC Chapter 334 regulations. Bids must be received no later than Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 3:00 PM at City Hall, 623 Main Street, Friona, Texas 79035. Bidders must provide proof of TCEQ UST contractor registration, on-site supervisor licenses, pollution/environmental liability insurance, project references, and related compliance documentation.
