SUMMARY
Charlotte County Utilities (CCU) is seeking bids for an annual contract for the removal, transportation, and disposal of domestic wastewater, residuals, and septage from facilities owned and operated by the County, including lift stations and low pressure sewer/septic tank pump outs. The scope includes 24/7 emergency service capabilities, lift station on-site stand-by, and hauling services utilizing a minimum fleet of four (4) functioning tankers with 3,500 to 6,000-gallon capacity and auxiliary self-loading pumps. Facilities serviced include East Port WRF, West Port WRF, Rotonda WRF, Leachate Treatment Facility, Burnt Store WRF, and various collection systems/septic tanks in Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda, FL. Bids are due by September 15, 2026, with a bid opening on September 16, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Contract term is from November 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, with two (2) optional one-year renewal periods.
