THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
The Solid Waste Collection fund grows sharply to $3.95 million in proposed 2026 expenditures, from $1.13 million estimated for 2025. This suggests expanded collection services, fleet needs, facility upgrades, or contract changes. Haulers, cart and truck suppliers, routing software providers, and transfer station designers should explore how this increased funding will be used and what procurements may follow.
Budget summary does not specify whether services are in-house or contracted; both scenarios can drive equipment and service buys.
