From the meeting
The October 19, 2026 lagoon decommissioning update said the city had already completed most lagoon removal work and is now moving into 2027-2029 closeout and reuse planning. Future work includes finishing berms in Cell 2, connecting pipe to the force main, starting Cell 1, and final testing in 2029. The city is also working with Moore Engineering on a document-ready site and has identified future land needs for ponds, an inert landfill, a transfer station and city buildings.
