From the meeting
The mayor said the school will add an additional pre-K session, which will absorb several Head Start children and leave the village looking for a childcare operator for the building. Ellenville Nursery School and Ulster County Community Action were in productive meetings and held a walkthrough to discuss building use and a possible transfer and handoff. The operator decision is still being shaped, which creates a clear services and facility-use opening.
