From the meeting
The employee manual added an AI section that lets teachers use approved AI tools in class, but only after telling students how the tools may be used. The district requires privacy protection and says classroom teachers will use AI tools that have been reviewed by the district. This is a buying signal for approved AI tools, review, and staff guidance even though no vendor was named.
