From the meeting

The Education/Curriculum Committee met to discuss state graduation requirements, credits versus standards, required versus elective courses, and possible additions of new programs of study. Mr. Miner, as Director of Secondary Curriculum and Instruction, was chairing the work on next year's academic program and outreach to WSCTC, WBCTC, the LU, sending districts, LCCC, Delaware Valley, and possibly Penn College.

The district had an open survey for students in grades 5-12, employees, and Northwest Area families, and it planned smaller meetings with department chairs and faculty in the coming months. Recommended changes were still being developed for winter curriculum guide presentations.

What is a pre-RFP?

A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
