THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
The council will consider a resolution naming representatives for the City's participation in the Texas Community Development Block Grant Downtown Revitalization Program application CDM26-0144. This is a 2026 grant request to the Texas Department of Agriculture for downtown improvements. If funded, the city will likely procure planning, engineering, construction, and possibly streetscape or facade work. Vendors in grant-writing, civil design, and downtown construction should track this application and engage on scopes that will follow award.
Item is a prerequisite authorization for submitting the 2026 Downtown Revitalization Program grant application.
