The council approved Ordinance No. 26-34 adopting updated station area plans (SAPs) for Jordan Valley Station and Sugar Factory Road Station. Senior Planner Tayler Jensen said the revisions removed 3D renderings, added current 2D maps, and limited new housing at Sugar Factory Road to the UTA parking lot.
The city said one remaining SAP, 4800 South New Bingham Highway, still needs completion and submission by the end of 2027, with staff seeking the same exception as South Jordan.
