From the meeting
The board will consider directing the general manager on automatic read meter selection and purchase. The agenda does not name a vendor or price, so the buying decision is still open. This is a clear pre-purchase signal for meter hardware or system suppliers.
The next decision point is the September 17, 2026 meeting.
