From the meeting
The board authorized Supervisor Willard Peck to sign support letters for two New York State Affordable Housing Corporation applications from Rebuilding Together Saratoga County. One request was for $1 million for health and safety repairs for 45 low-income homeowners, and the other was for $500,000 to replace 10 substandard mobile and manufactured homes. The funding is still an application, but it signals an active grant-backed housing repair program.

A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
