THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
The agenda notes a regional Planning/Vaughn authority picnic on July 22 focused on data centers. Haines Township officials are invited to discuss data center issues with neighboring municipalities. No project is defined yet, but this shows the township is starting to explore policies, infrastructure needs, and potential hosting of data centers. IT, infrastructure, and consulting firms could offer expertise on data center siting, zoning, connectivity, and fiscal impacts as the conversation matures.
