From the meeting
The agenda lists several Keep Shady Shores Beautiful projects, including Shady Shores Community Habitat Project - Community Pollinator NWF Habitats, A Place for Peace-Shady Lane Meditation Garden, 503 Jones Demonstration Garden, Life Grows Here Butterfly Garden at Town Hall Campus, Free Little Library, Bee City USA, Tree City Affiliate, and Arbor Day Spring Clean on April 17, 2027. The item is a worksession discussion item, so no award or purchase is recorded. It still signals ongoing community beautification and planting-related needs across multiple sites.
A seller would need to track which of these initiatives turns into funded work or material purchases later.

Questions about this project
What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.

Pre-RFPs typically surface 6–18 months before a formal solicitation is published. Civic IQ tracks Town of Shady Shores's meeting records, agendas, and budgets continuously and updates this pre-RFP as the project moves through the buying cycle toward an RFP.
