From the meeting
The adopted FY2026-2027 George E. Weems Memorial Hospital Fund budget included 'Capital Outlay-Buildings' at $11,561,813. The related revenue section showed the money transferring from the Healthcare Trust Fund as capital share.
The budget did not name a builder, architect, or equipment package. This is a major hospital capital signal that can lead to building, systems, and owner-rep conversations.
