From the meeting
The 2027 tentative budget said the town included funding to hire an engineer to develop formal design plans for an extension to the town offices. The planned addition would create a secure, climate-controlled, centralized inactive records storage area. No engineer or amount was named, so the need remained in planning as of the October 5, 2026 budget action.
The next sales conversation is with town leadership on scope, storage requirements, and how design will move into procurement.
