From the meeting
The 2027 budget sets aside $200,000 for on-premises AI infrastructure so the district can run large language models locally against sensitive operational data. Staff said the proposed 5U chassis would support two NVIDIA H200 NVL GPUs now and up to eight later, with use cases including customer, billing, asset, and SCADA analysis. This is an open capital technology lead with a specific hardware direction.
