From the meeting
Round Top Film Festival (RTFF) asked the town of Round Top for financial support and in-kind help for its November 7-10 festival. The proposal includes donated pop-up space, a $5,000 sneak preview event, $15,000 of security, $12,500 of shuttle service, $2,500 of graphic design, and $10,000 of photo/video coverage. RTFF also wants hotels to use custom room-block contracts and to co-promote pass discounts and shuttle use.

Questions about this project
What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.

Pre-RFPs typically surface 6–18 months before a formal solicitation is published. Civic IQ tracks Town of Round Top's meeting records, agendas, and budgets continuously and updates this pre-RFP as the project moves through the buying cycle toward an RFP.
