From the meeting
Pennridge School District was examining whether to consolidate its three middle schools into two, with the earliest possible implementation during the 2028-2029 school year. A May 2025 utilization study by Breslin Architects, using enrollment projections from the Pennsylvania Economy League, recommended the change based on declining enrollment and unused capacity. The Board had not made a final decision, and the committee was to present findings in early 2027 for Board consideration.

What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
