From the meeting
Parchment School District said it will begin a comprehensive curricular evaluation process this fall to decide whether to select a new K-5 core literacy curriculum resource. The district currently uses Fish Tank and Book Worms Reading, with UFLI Foundations as a supplement. Any new curriculum would not be implemented until the 2027-28 school year.
This is an early-stage curriculum replacement signal tied to an upcoming selection process.
