From the meeting
NYSSBA backed adoption of the NYS Dyslexia and Dysgraphia Task Force recommendations, including state funding for training, implementation of evidence-based literacy instruction, universal dyslexia screening, and intervention services. It also supported access to assistive technologies and staff professional development. This is a strong funding and implementation signal for literacy vendors and training providers.
