From the meeting
Mayor Roberts announced that the town was awarded a grant from the Upper Trinity Groundwater Conservation District for its rainwater harvesting project. The item was presented as a completed grant win, and the ribbon cutting was scheduled for September 29, 2026. This is a clear funding signal tied to an existing project, and it may create follow-on needs for equipment, installation support, or expansion work.
