From the meeting
Elizabeth Dyer, Island Institute Fellow, said she will be writing a Community Energy Resilience Plan (CERP) to assess where the town is and what its energy work has accomplished so far. The Energy Committee said the Hazard Mitigation Plan underscored the need to improve power redundancy in critical facilities and that it received a Community Action Grant on October 1. Harriet Bering said the grant includes funding for someone in a planning function to help move projects forward.
The workshop to start planning was set for November 7, 2026. Discussed October 7, 2026.

Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
